Well new HDD lies on my desk now.All that is left is to do replacement. But I do not want to destroy case box while swapping so I am seeking for some instructions...

Ah, OK.

Often, those external cases just need a bit of finagling. Screws possibly under the rubber feet on the bottom?

But I've had a couple that have no screws at all. Just have to carefully pry it apart. And yes, I've cracked more than one doing this.

I already checked rubber feet and there are no screws there. On side there is like 0.01mm gap between plastic part on top and plastic part on sides, i tried to pry it apart with very flat screwdriver, but with no luck (by doing this I extended that 0.01 mm gap to 2mm gap but just on that part where I used screwdriver) :(

I also have some concerns that SATA HDD inside will be somehow connected directly to that usb reduction (well I hope that there is a SATA HDD, what else should be there?)

The USB-SATA bridge may indeed be part of the PCB on the drive.
Maybe not, but that is sometimes the case.

Just a short update. I managed to get it open, used some old credit cards and a flat knife to open the box. However, I managed to destroy almost all plastic stoppers inside box. Once opened there is a USB-SATA reduction, but it can be disconnected without any issues. Inside you'll find a regular 6TB SATA HDD from SEAGATE.
