Power is on .black screen appairs. ejected ram card from 2 slot and pc works .bought new ram card and installed it only to have black screen again. sony vaio s series

Ram is not always compatible. You need to know everything to know if it will work.
Buying random memory is not good. You have to do research before you buy.
