I just bought the router and went through all the settings. The router makes a private WAN address and by doing so it creates a double NAT. I want to know if I can bridge the router in some sort of way?

So very simple, DON'T USE the WAN port. Hook up your up-stream over one of the LAN port instead, give it a proper static for management purposes. Disable its DHCP.
