Hello,

My specyfication:
Mobo: ASRock Z170 Pro4S
CPU: I5 6600K
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 G1 6GB GDDR5
RAM: KINGSTON HYPERX 8GB DDR4 (HX421C14FBK2/8)
Be quiet! Dark Rock 3
Corsair CX650W

  • now i can only OC my CPU to 4.3-4.4Ghz.
    I think i need a change my Mobo. I have 2 offers:
    • ASROCK Z270 PRO4
      or
      MSI Z270 TOMAHAWK
In a future i want buy new Ram, because i think it limits the potential of oc:

    • CORSAIR 16GB DDR4 (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15)
Which mobo will be beter to OC 6600K?

Will RAM be much better than the previous one?

I using my PC only to gaming.
purely theoretically how much i should have FPS in League of legends in full hd - all options to MAX?

RAM speeds don't have much of an effect on CPU overclocks when it comes to Intel.

As for feeling like you need a new motherboard, you should first look at whether or not your CPU just can't be overclocked that far to begin with.

When overclocking your CPU are you using any auto functions for the overclock or is it all manual?

If manual, have you messed with higher voltage to get more clock speeds or just did the clock speed increase until it wouldn't go any further?

If adjusting the voltage manually, have you properly set up your load line calibration?

It's possible that you just got a bad chip and it can't overclock that far.

The ASRock Z170 Pro4S is a decent board and shouldn't be limiting you in regards to overclocks. Assuming you had a decent chip, that board would work fine getting you up to 4.6/4.7Ghz.

For now, I just tried to overclock the processor automatically.
I'm turning it up enough to not be more than 1.4v

I would like the voltage to increase with the increase clocks Mhz, not that it would be set permanently.

Asrock has a very poor OC menu and I'm not sure how to go about it.

If i change a RAM will i see more fps in games?
