Hi I'm new here, I am having trouble pairing components together and stumbled upon pcpartspicker with their listed build for 1440 gaming. Are these components good enough?https://pcpartpicker.com/user/pcbg/saved/2BgJxr Because I'm planning on building a new gaming pc.

I would suggest something like this :

Get the 9600k and a good z390 mobo. A $1600 budget would be ideal for this.

It is a good build, but its definitely not balanced.

For $1300, you can do better:

Overbudget, but the 8700 will be a better match. However, this is the locked version, so you will not be able to OC the CPU.
