So I recently installed a M.2 Samsung 970 Evo to my system and noticed that the read/write speeds were half of what should be capable of 1770mb/s compared to more than double that what it is supposed to be capable of. My question is where on my Asus Prime Z370-a Motherboard is the other M.2 slot. It states on the website there are two and people say that I may be running the slower bandwidth slot but for the life of me I cannot find where the other M.2 slot is on this board.
I really want to get the full speed out of this M.2.
Note: I just installed it last night and noticed my boot times were coming out slower than the older SSD that I used to have in this system. I have it installed in the slot right above where my GPU PCIE slot is.
I also don't know if I missed something in the BIOS after I installed it.
