1) What I'll be using the PC for
1080p competitive gaming at 200+ fps (csgo, overwatch, quake est) and also casual gaming at 100+ fps (the witcher 3, far cry series, hellblade est)

2) I WILL be overclocking at some point (either the 2700x or the 4700x) so a motherboard with good VRMs is desirable

3) I will be upgrading to the 4700x in 2020

4) in terms of the ram I'd like either 3200-3600 speed as I'll be keeping this setup for 4-6 years so I don't want to have to buy twice, I'd rather just spend a little more now. Also 16gb total

In terms of a z370 would the asrock taichi be a good pick? I've heard the 9th gen comes out tomorrow so I may wait for pricing

Skimming through that it states than ryzen works well with samsung b-die right? The team group memory I linked uses samsung b-die.

Knowing that the team group memory uses Samsung b-die and has tighter timings should i go for that?

Also between that asus VII board and the asrock taichi x470 which would you go for assuming they're the same price?

Thanks I'll go for the asus :D.

Out of curiosity, does ram speed/timings matter much for intel? Like would that team group 3200 cas 14 ram be much better compared to 3000 cas 16 when in pertains to intel?
