Hello all,

I've decided to build a pc using some old parts, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to use the power supply I've already got. It's a an Antec BP500u, about 9 years old, although has only been used once in the last 3 years.

Here is the build I would be using it in, with the power supply I'd replace it with, if necessary.

Thanks!

As above, the Antec BP500u wasn't a great PSU when new. And it only has the one PCIE power cable. I thought you had listed the 650 watt as the one you were talking about.

Buy a new 550 - 650 watt power supply. It should have the two PCIE cables necessary.

In which case I wouldn't do it as I believe that psu has only 1 6pin.i would not advise using adaptors to make another 6 pin under any circumstances.
