Hello,
I am wondering if I am in need of an upgrade and if so what? I have an
I5-4690@3.5Ghz
16 gigs of ram
Geforce GTX 970 with 4 gigs

I just put in a 1 TB SSD and have a couple other drives so storage is not an issue. Just wondering since it has been a few years if any upgrade is needed for some upcoming games and if so, what to upgrade. I was told motherboard and CPU were good but should look at a new video card. Open to suggestions and input on this one.

Thanks
Ed

Well, to alleviate your fears about running Assassin's Creed Odyssey I present the following article:

Your system should have no problem what so ever running the game as long as you aren't planning on doing it in 4K. The specs you listed are well above minimums and should give you medium or high presets with little to no issue.

Hi
Thanks for the replies. Obviously for financial reasons I love Justins answer! As for what games I play I am really into shooters such as Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Also the entire Assassins creed series. Assassins Creed Odyssey is the reason all these questions of mine have come about.

Thanks again!

Ed
