[SOLVED] Can a 2017 non gaming GPU play 4k 60fps movies?

it is AMD radeon 530 to be specific....
i want to be sure before buying a 4k tv. i will watch movies by plugging the computer to the TV via HDMI 2.0.....



CPU: 7th generation intel i7-7500u

If you have a somewhat recent CPU, then you should have no problem playing 4k in software-only decode or partial hardware acceleration as long as your GPU has the appropriate output bandwidth support. HDMI 1.3 should get you to 4k30 for watching 4k videos. A laptop from the Radeon 530 era would be pre-Ryzen and might be a little lacking in the CPU performance department for 4k software decode.
