Is it worth Upgrading from Intel 3165 to 7260, 8260 or 9260 ?

I have a Dell Inspiron 3179 that comes with an Intel 3165, My home internet speed goes as high as 300Mbps...

Is it worth to upgrade from 3165 to one of 7260, 8260 or 9260 ?

First your laptop needs to have multiple antennas to take advantage of the other feature.

Next your router must support the same features. Thing the like 9260 supports a extremely rare function using 160mhz channels. There are lots of other things like mu-mimo and non standard 200m encoding on 2.4g. The device will negotiate to the lowest common feature set so you need to be sure you can use them.

Also be aware that there is diminishing returns. Going from 1 feed to 2 overlapping feeds in theory doubles the speed. Going from 1-3 in theory triples the speed etc. The vendors pretend that you actually can get this mystical number but in the real world each you add actually adds less and less. If it would work you would see routers that had 100 antenna. It took them years to be able to make a 4 antenna card be any faster than a 3 antenna card
