I have a corsair 450D case and the case comes with 2 intake front fans and one rear exhaust fan. I bought a corsair 100i v2 AIO cou cooler and it wont fit on the top. Can I take out the front to fans and put the radiator on the front of the case and move the front fans to the top? If I do that do I make the top fans exhaust and the front cpu radiator fans intake? How should I set up all the fans and radiator? Sorry for the long post this is my first build.

Solution
It really does not matter if you put the radiator on the front or on the top. There are advantages to both ways. With the front, you are cooling the radiator with cool air, so performance will improve, but you are pushing hot air through your case which is used to cool the GPU. At the top you are pushing the hot air out of the case, but you are using the warm air from the GPU to go through the radiator. In the end, there may be a degree difference, so it is really not worth putting too much thought into it.
Yes, you can put the radiator in the front, but make sure you have fans with it. The Rad by itself wont cool the CPU. You can put fans on the top of the case, but you want them to exhaust. You want to bring in cool air from the bottom and front and release hot air from the top and back. Since heat rises, you dont want to fight physics by trying to bring in cool air from the top of the case.

Additionally, if the area does not have a dust filter, then it should only be used for exhaust. If you intake air where there is no dust filter, your system will get very dirty and that will increase your temps.

Okay what I was planning on doing was mounting the radiator with its 2 fans in the front with fans being intake then leaving the rear fan as an exhaust and putting two more fans on top of the case as exhaust fans does that sound good? I dont have any other fans on the bottom so it would just be the front radiator with intake fans and the 3 exhaust fans 1 rear and 2 top. Will that make the case hotter affecting gpu and other components? I originally wanted to leave the front two intake fans on the front and put the radiator on the top as exhaust and then leave the rear fan as exhaust. Would that be any better if I can figure out a way to do it that way?
