Got a new pc the other day. Decided to benchmark it.

I used PC Userbenchmark and then later Passmark. It all came back with very good results.

Then I realised I had youtube playing while running the tests (sound down, I didn't notice).

Could this have put extra stress on cpu or gpu and maybe damaged something? Everything seems ok, but just a bit paranoid

If you look back at your Userbenchmark 'score page' there is a small section about mid way down on the right that tells you how much background CPU was in use. Normally if it passes a certain threshold there will be a small red notification above your scores as well.
