At 1080P (or 2560x1080P) 4gb is still enough to keep most games on higher textures/graphic settings and if you do decide to sell it and get the 8gb version your not going to get much as the retail price has dropped and there's no way for us to know if you game'd and/or mined with it.

If I where you I'd hold onto it for now and consider the upgrade when Navi comes out, I think 2019.

okay, so i just to see, i play a lot of rust and i want higher fps, gpu sitting at 100% cpu 40% and ram 95%, would increasing my ram to 16 gb make me able to set higher game settings since i see a lot of ppl with rx 580 8gb be able to do it but i cant even put half the settings on to have 60 fps

rx580 4gb
hyperx fury 8gb 2133, 2x4
i3 7350k

No, its not early acces anymore, i is actually kinda well optimised in my opinion, never seeing any bugs or glitches anymore, have been playing it for years now, Btw i just gave rust as an example, i play games such as pubg csgo league ark

Perhaps they have a better CPU (+OC) and more vram?

You need an i5 and a 2x8 kit of RAM more than you do 4 more gigs of VRAM. Although I think Rust can use up to 6 gigs total on 1080p with the graphics up. Rust eats system memory for breakfast so more ram, more cpu, and if that doesn't see huge gains you have problems elsewhere

I would replace that dual core CPU first. Games that utilize 4 cores (or more) will help you achieve higher framerates.

For example: My backup PC runs an i7 CPU and an RX 580. It runs games like BF1 at 120 fps about 90% or the time with dips to about 100fps on a 1080p monitor with a mix of medium/high settings.
