i5 7600K on a h110m board?

Hi. I got a Gigabyte H110m-H with a G4560 CPU, and just a while ago I saw an ad in FB marketplace for an i5 7600K for Php6000(roughly $110). Would it be a good buy even on my current Mobo? Thanks

check bios version, as long as it is >=F20, you are fine. If not, update your BIOS first to F23 before dropping in 7600k.

That CPU is certainly compatible with your motherboard (make sure you have BIOS version F20 or higher installed before installing the i5-7600k). It will also out-perform what you have now by a wide margin in many instances. Not a bad choice at all.

I'll check my mobo but i think I remembered that my bios is updated. Besides the G4560 is a 7th gen processor so i think it will work fine, right?
