my laptop:
acer e5 475g
i5 7200u
nvidia geforce 940mx
8gb ram

ok, first, there hasnt been a year, my laptop shut down while playing LoL, it shut down after maybe 15 minutes, and i try other game and shutdown again. the cpu temperature after i turn it on again around 80 degrees. i always play games with vacuum cooler before this problem come. i also play gta v (offline and low setting) and pubg (very low setting) when i just bought the laptop.

is this because im too pushy to play?

and I just realized that the fan wasn't as tight as before. I thought maybe my laptop was dirty. so I take it to the service place, and say that the fan is slow and needs cleaning. I can't do it myself

after being serviced, and indeed the fan felt quite in my hand. I immediately tested the game, and the shutdown came again and the temperature was quite high but did not reach 90 (play with vacuum cooler)

for browsing, streaming, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, there is no problem

what is my CPU not as strong as before?
or is there another problem?

pls help guys :(

Solution
The problem of Acer laptop is that many times its cooling characteristics (heatsinks, fans, housing in general ...) are not up to the power of its components which tend to overheat and slow down the CPU or stop. Of course they are cheaper than a Lenovo, MSI or HP ones.

This laptop was in 2016 very good for general tasks and acceptable for games. Of course it is not a specialized for games.

Two years later it is still very good for tasks in general and not so good for games because the tasks in general have not undergone changes of relevance and the current games are more demanding regarding the hardware.

I can only recommend that you keep it as fresh as possible, but I can see that you are careful in this regard.

There are some external coolers, but I think they really were not very effective.
