Will an AMD A8-7600 be a good temporary cpu?

I was looking for a temporary replacement for my current A4-6300 because I am in real need of faster render times for my video projects, animations, progams, and etc. Problem is that I am only on a tight budget and i cannot afford yet a newer motherboard with ddr4 so i am stuck with my ddr3 fm2 motherboard.

I would wonder what software you're using, and whether the workload can be placed upon a graphics card rather than the CPU.

I wonder because in Blender it's possible to choose the CPU or GPU to render, and GPU tends to be faster.
