NEED HELP!, Compatibility Problems with GPU, Can I change my Processor from Intel to AMD?

Hello there, I have a bit problem with my PC because I have a Graphics Card(Radeon RX 550 Aero ITX 2G OC) that is incompatible with my current Motherboard *BUT when I took it to a IT PC Shop they tested it and it was working(the GPU). So what I am thinking is that should I change my Motherboard or Buy a New one which is more compatible.

My current PC:
OS- windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Processor- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Number of Cores- 4
Motherboard- Intel DH67BL
Video Card- Intel(R) HD Graphics *
RAM- 2x2 DDR3 1333Mhz

So I wanted to know if I could change my Motherboard and Processor to a compatible system for my GPU.
I am asking is, can I change my Intel Motherboard and Processor to a AMD A6-7400k and a MSI A68HM-E33 V2 Motherboard?

Is it compatible with my GPU?,
Can I Change from Intel to AMD?,
Will this be a waste of Money?,
Will this be a better Upgrade?,

So any preferable upgrades for this PC or a new build will be very helpful! recommendations to run games in ultra smoothly is the main purpose but budget is around $110-$130

First, the only thing a motherboard needs to be compatible with your GPU is a PCIe x16 slot which yours does.

Second, your post is a little confusing. You said the GPU worked with the motherboard at the IT shop? Or just the card worked?

In a quick read, I must ask...is this a proprietary build, like a Dell?

In some cases manufacturers will lock the mobo to a specific set of graphics cards. I mention Dell because they are FAMOUS for it, even in the XPS line which you would expect to be open. Assuming the mobo is BIOS locked from using your GPU I would look to see if any of the recommended cards are in line with what you have, or buy a new (used) mobo for your current setup.

Otherwise, I would recommend a complete refresh of your system to something more current.

Also, is current PSU up to the task?

Well I know that my PCIe Slot is working because I tried it with a GTX 1050(which I Borrowed), But only The Radeon RX 550 did not work on my system.

No It's not a proprietary Build because when I got it in 2015 I It has no GPU so I bought a Nvidia GT 610 and put it in the Motherboard then I worked, but after 3 years I bought The MSI Radeon RX 550 but it did not work.~(THAT'S MY PROBLEM). Yeah I checked the specifications of the GPU its 400watts But mu PSU is 600Watts which should be compatible
