Using a stethoscope I am able to determine that my non bootable Seagate Barracuda 1Tb hard drive takes about 5 seconds to spin up, then it has a soft clicking sound for about 25 seconds and then it appears to automatically shut down. Repeats this cycle each time I power up. Should I scrap it or is it repairable?
