Asus Z87-A Ram booting issues

Hi everyone, I recently decided to purchase new ram sticks as my old ram sticks only had so much potential. I tried finding compatible ram to my mother board and ended up purchasing a
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM Desktop Memory (1600 MHz, PC3 12800) F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL
Set. Upon it arriving I removed my old sticks and placed my new sticks into the yellow slots of my motherboard. After booting I was given a no memory failure boot loop. I decided to reseat them several times with no changes until I had read to clear the CMOS. After clearing the CMOS the boot loops had stopped but the DRAM led had light up (Not flashing anymore) and had no video. I hit the MEMok button on my motherboard in which it had shut off then proceeded to boot while flashing the DRAM light. Didnt touch my gpu or cpu and all was working fine minutes before I decided to change my RAM, possibly thinking I'm just not seating them correctly but not sure.
My motherboard is the ASUS Z87-a. Thank you

Solution
Try it with only one stick, installed in the A2 slot which is the second one over from the CPU, or third over from the edge of the motherboard. See if it boots with only a single stick in that slot. If not, try the other stick.

If it does not, leave that stick where it is, power off, unplug the PSU from the wall, remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard for five minutes. During that five minutes press the main power button for your case for 30 seconds. After the five minutes, put the CMOS battery back in, reconnect power to the PSU and see if it will POST. If not, try the memory in the A1 slot, closest to the CPU.

If it still does not work, try your old memory in the A2 and B2 slots. If it DOES boot with those modules installed...
