You should already have backed it up: in which case failure won't "effect you". Google "backing up your PC" if you haven't yet.

If it were a "pc" you could install another 1TB tosh for $50 and just back up and restore to the new drive (skipping need for external or cloud backup).

for the PNG, on the left pane i see ZERO information on the warning, therefore: no comment

for the PNG, on the right pane, the temperature warning likely isn't not for the tosh HD but for the cpu or general area (hard disks run FULL DUTY CYCLE - they don't overheat - infact older ones ran at something like 200 deg F)

SO: insure your case fans (laptop case) are spinning at the right speed. they are very delicate don't touch or stick anything into them without good instruction

your using 3rd party software - these have a "record" for trying to justify their use by giving false warnings actually.

i saw nothing definitive that tells me for sure your drive even might have a problem. (again: do your backups anyway, always)

i saw some indication you should insure your laptop is clean of dust inside and you should check your fans - but i don't suggest you do it yourself unless you can youtube it an not break it

Well...you can run that drive and completely ignore any warnings. Or any of the other dozen ways you can lose all your data.

So if that drive lasts another 3 years, and then dies suddenly at 3 years + 1 day....at 3 years + 2 days, you'll be wishing you had an actual backup.

Or, you can come to the realization that data that lives on only one drive is very fragile, and open to total loss, by many different ways.
You prevent this by having a good backup routine.

It's not very simple, but ok. I can try to explain.

1. Download MHDD Magic boot disk iso. Extract zip file to obtain iso file. Mount ISO file.
http://hddguru.com/software/2006.02.10-Magic-Boot-Disk/
2. Download HP USB format tool.
https://filehippo.com/download_hp_usb_disk_storage_format_tool/
3. Insert USB flash drive. It will get overwritten.
4. Run HP USB format tool,
  • a) select usb flash drive,
    b) check "Create DOS startup disk", specify CD/DVD drive, where ISO file is mounted,
    c) press start to create bootable USB flash drive,
    d) copy files from mounted CD/DVD drive to USB flash drive (if asked to overwrite, skip those files),
    e) extract mhdd.zip file in mhdd folder on USB flash drive.
5. Reboot your pc from USB flash drive.
6. Run mhdd
  • cd mhdd
    mhdd.exe /enableprimary
7. run commands im mhdd console
  • to select disk use command "port"
to scan drive use command "scan" and choose options - relocate.
That's about it. It will be several hours until the scan finishes.

Because drives die.
All of them.

Yours showed some early potential warning signs. You keep messing with it, and it keeps showing signs of fail.
That drive will die. Maybe next year. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe it will last another decade.

But it will die. The day after it actually becomes unreadable is too late to make a backup.

But hey...it's your data, not mine.

hmm okey advice me i want to get a 2 tera hard drive what sholud i get ?!

to the thread starter. the error messages are a warning that the vendor of the hard drive puts in to warn you of a drive that going south. ever drive when new has bad sectors. the vendor masks these spots out. then they have the firmware check for new ones over the life of the drive. if the count gets to a set size you get the first warning. those spots can be from uses over the years or the heads are starting to hit the drive platter. the new error is the drive writting out the bad sectors to the new grown list and it over the set limit the vendor set in the firmware. drive life on a hard ddrive can be based on a few things under software. check to see how fast it dropping. on ssd it how may writes the ssd does.

hello thx for u answer .. so do i have to replace it and back up data or not ?! how many days remaining until the hard disk dies ?!

ps my hard not ssd

and if i have to get a new internal hard .. what do u think about WD 2 tera ?! and what color should i get ?! and is there a difference between sata 3 and sata 2 .. mine is sata 2 ??

sorry i asks a lot

If your data is important, then get a backup drive and backup your files regularly.

On your current drive you have to watch Pending sectors and relocated sectors. If number of those stays the same, then it's fine.
If number increases, then it's suggested to replace the drive.

until now all the numbers doesn't change i watch it every 10 min
should i trust a specific program ?!

start off if your laptop has a restore partion or a restore disk. if it the first then see if you can use a uab stick to make a working copy. if there no restore partion then get a restore disk or stick from the laptop vendor. if there any data you cant lose right now then use an cloud backup or a large usb stick and back your files to that stick. the replacement hard drive make sure it 7200 rpm and is the same size height or shorter. look at the warranty of the drives and pick one that has a long warranty. pull the old drive out. newer sata 3 drives are made to run on older slower chipset. you just wont see sata 3 speeds.with the new drive in...boot from the restore usb stick and put the factory image on the new larger hard drive. when it done and your booting back into windows let windows update itself. when it done you can use a usb cable and connect your old drive to the laptop and move your data or use your large usb stick or cloud storage. when you restore your laptop your going to have to reload all of your programs.
