I am upgrading my mono from an AM3+ to an AM4. What preupgrade and postupgrade software related things do I need to do? Do I really have to reinstall Windows fully again or can I just install the new drivers. I am also going from an FX-4300 to a Ryzen 5 2600. Thanks!

You'll need to reinstall Windows fully. As far as what drivers you need, just go to the mobos manufactures download page for the mobo model you picked and download the chipset, LAN (Windows default usually work though), Sound and possibly the SATA drivers (windows usually does fine with those)
