Hey guys i have a asus rog strix x370 f gaming and i want to update the chip set every other thing their support page has to offer, but they say that i have to uninstall the last driver to avoid structure issue. I tried that but on he device manager its not clear enough... I mean i watched articles and videos but it just doesn't add up.. the versions are completely chaos (versions and etc.) and i don't want to delete something that i shouldn't. Any help please?

Have you a specific problem you're trying to solve? Windows will generally keep system drivers (like chipset drivers) current enough so if you don't have a problem you're probably better off leaving it alone.

Doing it right can be daunting as you have to run a utility that uninstalls absolutely all AMD softwares, then you have to go find some folders and delete the residuals manually. THEN you can install from the package you have. I'd also install from a package I get from AMD's site, not off the motherboard mfr's site, since the motherboard mfr. usually gives you a lot of bloatware along with it.

Since you're looking at Device Manager...one thing you can do is check for updates using that. In System Devices, go down the list and look for AMD devices: AMD GPIO Controller, AMD PCI, AMD SMBus. Right click on them and select 'UPDATE DRIVER'. Select 'Search Automatically....', that looks in local Windows stores and Microsoft online stores for updated WHQL drivers. If you've installed out-of-date motherboard mfr. packages you'll get updated. If you installed anything from AMD you might have gotten later non-WHQL drivers which it probably won't update. At any rate, if it says 'The best drivers for your device are already installed' you're good to go!
