Can run games like Fortnite

I was gonna order a Dell Inspiron 3565 with an Amd A6 9200 processor with a Amd Radeon R4 graphics card. It has 4gb ram and a 500gb hdd and I was gonna upgrade it to 8gb ram and change the 500gb hdd to a 120gb ssd. (could it handle games like fortnite?)

At 720p you should be able to get 30fps+ at low settings. It is NOT a gaming laptop at all. I do not recommend you get this laptop to play games.

what is your budget for a laptop? you can get better performance at that price point.

Does it have to be laptop ? you could pick up a cheap refurbished desktop for under $150 with window 10 then put in a cheap GPU for under $150 that would play fornite and other games at 1080p. It seems that laptop is roughly around $300. Heck if you need a monitor too you can could by a cheap 1080p monitor for probably at or under $100 and you can pick up B stock GT 730 with GDDR5 from evga that still better than the laptop option. Assuming you don't need to portability.

For $299 you can get a acer laptop with a AMD ryzen 3 2200u processor and AMD Vega 3 mobile graphics. This will perform well at 720p in games. Here is a review where fortnite is played. As you can see the 8gb model performs well. you will have laggy gameplay with a 4gb model.

This is the best option in my opinion that you can get for 300 bucks. Again gaming on a cheap laptop is not going to be the greatest but for just $299 you can get a laptop that will perform decently in games and great performance in day to day tasks. An ssd will help this to be a better laptop too.
