How to get enough money for my PC build?

Hello, first let me start off by saying that I'm 13 years old and the PC build costs around $693 (without peripherals). I live in Macedonia, which is a relatively poor country. I've been wanting to get a new PC for quite a few years, since I've been getting a few bluescreens every day on the laptop I currently use. I have looked into replacing the faulty hardware however none of the local shops sell the parts I need, and my parents never buy stuff online. I don't have an allowance, and my mom takes all my money (even from gifts) and hides my wallet. I can't do any odd jobs since noone wants anything in the general area of where I live. She is quite computer illiterate, hell she even thinks laptops are better than desktops. So yeah, any tips would be appreciated.

It would seem that your only option would be to educate your Mother. Get her involved with it. Get her to use it and show her how. Show her the things she can do with a computer and how it's better than how she currently does things.

Breaking them down slowly is how you achieve goals. Not be doing something overnight. Each time you find something that would be better with a desktop, just let her know. Slide it in to a casual conversation; "Hey mom, did you know that typing documents is better on a desktop as it has a bigger screen and more features?"

Leave it at that. At first, you will not notice much of a difference. But over time, as you let her know more and more bits of information, she will be more understanding of your argument. At that point of time, you should be ready to pitch to her the idea of getting a desktop, as she would have realised the benefits of having one. This should help you.
