Hi there I have a Phantek p300 series eclipse case and a
Gigabyte A320-S2H motherboard
And a Cool Master Power supply.

Now I have a 3 pin connector from much system fan but on my motherboard it’s got a 4 pin connector for my system fan. Can I still connect this?

Also I have another cable from my case that says “ use this for a phantek RGB strip” does this mean in the future I purchase more lighting I will then use this?

Also I have all these PCI-E cables and have no bloody clue where they go? Do i even need them? I read some stuff about them plugginh into my graphics card but there’s nothin better on mine, my graphics card just slots into my motherboard and that’s it.

Help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Solution
1) Yes you can plug the 3 pin connector to the 4 pin on motherboard. 4 Pin connectors are used for Fan speed control. The fan you might be a single speed fan.
2) That connector must be for a Phantek RGP strip that you can buy afterwards if wanted to add some dashy lighting. Leave it for now.
3) Yes, You need those PCI-E cables if you purchase a Graphics card with higher Power ratings. Your Graphics card must be under maximum 75watt power limit, which can be supplied by the motherboard via the slot.
