Hey guys, i have recently switched from ps4 to pc, and im having problems with overclocking my gpu.
I have bought the Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ 4gb for my rig, and Sapphire advertized that they overclocked the card themselves and left room for a little tweaking aswell.
I know every card is different, but mine crashes if i try to increase the clock speed by as little as 5 mHz.
Is there anything i can do about it or do i just have to accept it?

Solution
You can't overclock the card if you don't increase the power. So if you want it to be faster it has to need more power.
In theory you can say it will shorten the life, but in reality that life will be 10 years from now, and you won't be using that GPU in 10 years unless you are unfortunate!

Thanks for the reply!
I get that it needs more power, but mine needs a voltage increase even when im just overclocking a few mHz, how high can i take the voltage without damaging the card?
