Windows 7 Constant freezing/crashing

Hello,

My system is constantly freezing & crashing just about every time I sit down to use it. It is mainly while playing games, however it does rarely do the same just from the desktop. It all started when the power in my house started surging so no doubt that jacked something up. Problem is the crash just reboots the system, and freezing generates no error messages so it makes it hard to figure out. I have reloaded the system, which did seem to help. For a while it was good, but now it's back to being as bad as it was when it started. I did suspect a hard drive, because when I reloaded it gave me an error when I tried to format it, so I disconnected the drive. Problem still persists. This morning it crashed to a blue screen so I have a pic of that error (yay!). Suspect my memory was damaged from the power surges...
