My PC turns on, lights are on, I can hear ssd and fans spin, but the mouse and keyboard don't work and the GPU fans stop spinning after a few seconds of working (the lights in the gpu, however, remain on.)

I hadn't been using my PC for 2 weeks, my mom used it to check some documents a few days ago and it was fine. I have no idea what could've happened.

Something I found strange: I noticed that the mouse's lights were turned on while the PC wasn't on. I thought it was weird cause usually it doesn't happen, but I didn't think much of it. Then when I went to turn on the PC, mouse lights went off and I noticed the problem. Not sure if that might have anything to do with monitor, keyboard and mouse not working.

Also, I read online taking the ram out and putting it back in might help, but I tried it and nothing.

Would really appreciate some help. Thank you in advance

Specs:
CPU: i7 4790 4.0ghz (overclocked to 4.5ghz)
GPU: Nvidia gtx1050ti
RAM: g-skill ripjaws ddr3 8gb
Motherboard: ASUS, i don't remember exact model but will update when I can check it.

It's an old one from another computer.
You're right it's failing, I just turned on PC again and it only stays on a few seconds, then turns off, tries to turn on again and it can't, repeat process
I will replace the PSU tomorrow!! It's def that. Thank you!

Yeah, best thing to do before it fries any of your components.

Let me know if you need help picking one. What's your budget and where do you live?

I live in Spain. As for budget, I'd rather not go over 50 euros but if it's necessary I could.

I was thinking of replacing it with the same kind of PSU cause my brother has a lot of spare ones. But they're super old, they come from like early 2000s PCs I think. Maybe it's better to get a new one directly and not risk it?
