ryzen 5 2400g temps

Just a quick question.What is a good temp for the ryzen 5 2400g?My brother runs on stock cooler and when gaming it goes up to around 65c.Is that normal or a little high?

Reason i ask is my old fx 4170 runs on 48c when gaming and it's 4.2ghz 125w tdp

65 C is a little warm but within tolerance.

65 c on max load that is ok what air flow it have in the case and did he touch the cpu fans speed settings in uefi should be leave on auto and pwm .

65C on stock is perfectly acceptable. Remember too that you not only have a CPU in there but also a Vega GPU that is pumping out probably more heat than the CPU.

65c is well within reasonable temps on that chip.
Remember that is the cpu AND gpu one one chip compared to your 4170.

Temps were measured weirdly on FX CPUs from what I remember, you can't really compare the numbers directly to other chips.

Case has 120mm exhaust and 120mm intake in front.Everything in bios is standard cept for the memory timings i tweaked a little.

Understandable.I did do a lot of test on this fx cpu.Remove thermal paste different programs and i have a custom 120mm steel fan at the back of the case which run from house power as a normal 120mm fan just couldn't keep her cool.
