Hey,

I ordered and installed:
AMD R5 2600X
ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 LPX 3000Mhz 2x8Go

It's in my old system, so I power it with my FSP Raider 750W, and I plugged my old R9 280X on it.
At this point, when I power on, nothing happens, I mean fans spin, keyboard lights up, but nothing on screen.

Since I plan on buying a new PSU (Corsair RM650x)and new GPU (RX580) to complete my new build, I just decided to reinstall my old setup in my case so I can at least use a PC and try to fix the problem later, but, surprise, my R9 280X doesn't work in the old system anymore... I had a very old HD5850 somewhere, so I plugged it in, and now it's working. Tried to re-plug the R9 280X, still not working (tried clear CMOS).

So now my old system is working again, with a very very old HD5850. So I was like hey, let's try that old GPU (HD5850) with my new system. Still the same problem, no boot, fans spin, keyboard lights up, nothing on screen, can't access BIOS by spamming any key, just nothing on screen.

Even if my GPU was the problem in the first place, now I know it's not a GPU problem anymore because I'm 100% sure my HD5850 works (tried to re-plug it in my old system again to double check and it works fine).

I also tried to change the RAM setup, switching A2/B2 for A1/B1, same problem.
Motherboard 8pins ATX connected.
Motherboard 24pins ATX connected.
GPU 2x6pins connected (for HD5850, or 1x8pins + 1x6pins for R9 280X)
I'm running out of ideas.

What could have happened to my R9 280X ? I paid attention while moving it I dont understand... But I have to say she had some problem in the past, like a full cup of coffee spilled on it kind of problem, and the card started to oxidize a bit so I guess moving it was the final blow but it still feels weird because it was working great. But hey, if she's dead for real I'm fine with that, I have a 2nd one to make my PC usable at the moment and I'll have the new one soon.

But the most important, what could be wrong with my new hardware ? It's far from being my first build, but I can't see what's wrong.

Thanks for the read, have a good day/night.

UPDATE:

1- My R9 280X works again. Don't ask me how and why, I have no idea.

2- Everything work fine now. Just a very classic problem I don't even know why I didn't think about it earlier --> Corsair still produce 50% of bad memory, no big deal... I knew it but I still wanted to buy these cheap Corsair 3Ghz CL15. Never again. NEVER CORSAIR AGAIN. I will remember the lesson.
