I got a new Motherboard and CPU
MSI - Z370 GAMING PRO CARBON ATX LGA1151
Intel - Core i5-8400 2.8GHz 6-Core

My old ones was asus b150 and a i5 6500

I got a SSD with windows 10 and a HDD with games and drivers and other stuff

Do i wipe my SSD and keep the things on HDD or do i need to wipe both of them or do i do something else. Its my first time upgrading motherboard and CPU

In short i have no idea what to do. I haven't order the parts yet.

Always a good rule of thumb to do a clean windows install whenever you change the mobo. Drivers from different boards don’t tend to play nice together. I would backup important files and do a clean install. There’s always a chance it’ll work as is, but more often than not, there are significant issues.

My understanding is that you would just need to a clean install of the OS. So whatever drive you’ll boot from and had the old OS on it. If there are just files on the HDD, then you should be fine. As long as there are no conflicting drivers/software.
