FPS Problems with Geforce GTX 1080 Gaming X

Hello there,

this is the first time I am asking a question in a Forum, I am desperate and need Help.
I just bought a Geforce GTX 1080 Gaming X 8 GB and my Computer is running with way less FPS than before. (I had an JFA2 1060)
Games like Fortnite are not really playable, when I am standing still somewhere on the landscape the FPS are around 144 if I enter big cities or if it comes to fighting, the FPS are droping down to 40 and below.
The Drivers are all up to date, so far I tried to reinstall Windows, changed the Power Settings to Maximum, (Windows and Nvidia Control Panel) switched off Vsync...

http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/11405599

This Benchmark shows my Hardware Components and what may causes the issues, seems like there is something wrong with my RAM?
I already changed the slots and activated Extreme Memory Profile in BIOS.

Please let me know if you have some ideas that may solve my problem.
Thank you.

Hey there. For what i could see on the Benchs you actually have some problems with your CPU overall.
First, the Ram is performing EXTREMLY poorly. I assume and base that all problems relay on the BIOS version. I would just update it.
The GPU seems to be performing just fine (125% vs average 1080s) which is more than just fine...
I assume the problems could be just the mobo bios version. But i would take a look at the ram aswel...
Btw, are you monitoring constantly with MSI afterburner or any GPU monitor software the performance of it? Im pretty sure the GPU aint the problem here.

What do you mean with mobo BIOS version? I guess i will try updating BIOS than, never did that before is it complicated?
Yes I used the afterburner but I am pretty new to Computers so that I did not really understand what it was showing. Anyways it looked like the CPU Clock was constantely at 3200 Mhz and it dit not change.

Thanks for your help so far.

Im not quite a Mobo expert, But your Mobo seems to have some memory compatibility issues. Ofcourse it seems like most of them were fixed by firmware updates... I would recommend you to:
1- Go to this site https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350M-Pro-VDH (Which is the official MSI site for your mobo)
2- Download the lastest Bios
3- JUST IN CASE go to Drivers and Download the system & chipset drivers
4- Once downloaded read this guide about how to correctly flash a bios cause its a very delicated theme... http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1838132/flash-bios-needed-windows-bios.html
5-Proceed carefully

Hope it helped you!

The memory issue is not related to bios, it is because the ram is certified for 3200mhz and OP is running at 2133, thats why is so low because it compares performance of 2133 ram with 3200 RAM.
OP try to enable XMP profile in bios. Also ryzen is known to need very fast ram because of the CCX modules, this trechnology needs very fast ram to transfer data through infinity fabric between the ccx modules. Your ram is veyr veyr low specced.

Thank you so much,
I guess it works now! when I updated the bios i got a note that the Ram was not in the optimized slots. I changed it and now the benchmark shows this results http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/11409605.
I Think what you both said was correct.
