Are cablemod cables compatible with any modular psu

I wanted to get some cablemod cables for my EVGA NEX650G psu, but after hearing horror stories about dying components I'm not really sure

Any help would be appreciated.

If they build the cable. It would need to be specific for your model. The PSU side input pin outs are proprietary. So, they must be wired correctly for the component side of the cable.

Even if they say it is for your PSU. I would not use one without a multimeter. To verify correct voltage and polarity of the output.
