Problem with bios

Hello. I have a problem with accessing my bios. I want to do format my pc. I have bought this motherboard (msi B250M pro-vd) just because i wanted to upgrade my old amd processor to and intel core i5. I remember that after the installation of my motherboard with my new processor and ram i wanted to do a format. The problem was and still is that when i was pressing the del button to access my bios i found that my when i press the "advanced" category it closing and do the boot normaly and "M-flash“ button it crashes and the cursor disapears, it might be defective but i am not sure . If someone can help me i will be cheerful. Thank you for you time

I think I might try to reload the BIOS.....and while I was at it I would look to see if there were any more recent upgrades and load the most recent upgrade.

Download the most recent BIOS. it's dated 7/4/2018

MSAI says (on that page)...We suggest using Chrome, Firefox 3.0 or IE 9.0 above browsers to download BIOS, Drivers, etc.

MSI has a video on how to install the BIOS after you download it.

When i am going on the "M-FLASH" and clicking on the my flash drive the screen freezes and the mouse cursor it desapears. What can i do? Also the computer it takes nearly 10 minutes to boot up after the forced restart. I am confused.

I'm not sure why it would do that.

Perhaps you can use the arrow keys and the enter button?

Although being when you click on M-Flash in the BIOS and it freezes....I think that says that something is either wrong with the BIOS or the motherboard.

Well it seems that the only thing that lefts to do is to send it back to the store that I bough it to check it if it has construction problems. Thank you for your time
