Hello everyone,
I'd like to upgrade my graphic card to play games in better quality (for example I can run Saints Row 3 only in 720p, while my screen is 1080p).
Here is my My PC:
Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M LX
CPU: AMD FX-8320E (Eight-Core Processor) 3.20 GHz
CPU Cooler: DEEPCOOL CPU Cooler 4 Heatpipe Gabriel
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5570 60 Hz
RAM: 16 GB (DDR3) HyperX Fury RAM Kit (2x8GB)
PSU : Corsair VS550 (80 PLUS, 550 Watt)
Windows 10 64 Bits
I'm not sure about the PCI slots though, the official website said:
2 x PCIe x1
1 x PCIe x16
This website says it's v2.0:
http://www.pc-specs.com/mobo/Asus/Asus_M5A78L-M_LX/210
Also, I tried to use pcpartpicker who told me that my motherboard could only support 8Gb of RAM. I checked in my properties and 16Gb appear, I don't get it.
So, what could be the best graphic card to improve my gaming experience without making my computer explode (the money isn't really a problem, if it doesn't go to waste, I know it's an old motherboard) ?
Or, if you can't tell me, is there a good compatiblity checker for that? (I tried a lot of them).
Thanks in advance for any reply.
