I’m wanting to wire 3 fans to a wall outlet to cool my Xbox that’s sitting inside a shelf. Can someone tell me what I need and how to wire it? Thanks!

Hi,
You should rather not mess up with your xbox. If you want to bring temperature down, you can apply thermal paste. I suggest getting arctic silver 5 or arctic mx4. Fans would do much and can't be installed neatly.
Hope it helps
Thank you

If you don't already have the parts and experience to transform PC fans to wall power, it would be cheaper, easier, and safer to just buy a small wall powered fan. Or a USB powered fan.

Most PC fans are powered by 12 volts DC. Check the fan itself - it must say voltage, and current drawn. Go to Amazon, buy a 12 volts power brick with enough current rating to power all three fans, with spare 50% on top (eg, if a single fan draws 200ma, look for 1.5/2.0Amps adapter). Then it is just of proper connecting all the fans, and matching polarity so the fans turn in the right direction.
