what software are you using to monitor temps? did you modify the fan curve? overclock? what is the retailer of the card? are the fans working? check the PSU cables to the GPU. try running windows in safe mode(look it up).

60c should be not a problem for most cards. Use OSD monitoring such as MSI Afterburner (with built in Rivatuner) and put your GPU parameters there and check the fans.

at the second, i would stare at your PSU not providing stable juice to the GPU rail. How aged it is?

shitd613 power / heat / software: causes of most issues.

power: EVGA only makes five PSUs with 550 watts. All provide the full 550 watts to the 12V rail, except the 550N1, and it provides 516 watts to it. I suppose the N1's lack of quality could be a possible cause. Question: Which PSU model do you have?

heat: 63-66C is nothing. I have a EVGA 1060 6GB SC gaming (single fan GPU) in one of my rigs that reaches 80C for 6-12 hours at a time and has never had a problem.

software: Download and run DDU; allow it to automatically boot your system into safe mode. Remove all Intel and AMD drivers, then allow it to reboot back into Windows normal mode. After that download and custom install latest Nvidia drivers without Geforce Experience. Any difference?

Hi. I have the Windforce GTX 1060 3GB OC card. And I used FurMark and Kombuster to test this. I got my PSU wattage wrong. It is the EVGA 500 watt power supply. Also my computer stopped posting after I stress tested a few more times. I have confirmed this is nothing to do with the PSU. I haven’t tried a new board because I am too broke to try a new board. So I will get an RMA from ASRock and Gigabyte.
