So I’m building a pc by Christmas time. I will be getting the MSI B450M PRO-VDH AM4 DDR4 mATX Motherboard. But from what I can tell it only has 1 pci-e slot as description are a bit funny on the sites I have looked. My question is can I install the 1060 3gb graphics card and add a WiFi card ? If not I will have to get a WiFi usb dongle but I would prefer to have the WiFi card installed. Thanks

It is as richiestang_78 states, but is there a reason it has to be that motherboard? As with many micro-ATX motherboards, the first PCI-Ex1 expansion slot is directly beneath the PCI-Ex16 expansion slot. This first PCI-Ex1 slot will be covered by the cooling shroud of the GTX1060, leaving only one PCI-Ex1 slot available (unless you opt for riser cables) and any card installed in the second PCI-Ex1 slot is going to block air flow to/from the graphics card.

@wolfshadow it’s just what my budget was allowing. I could probably stretch to the ASRock B450 PRO4 AM4 DDR4 ATX Motherboard which has 2 PCI-e x16 and 4 PCI-e x1 slots. If I go for this option will the motherboard power the WiFi card or will I need to select a psu that has 2 PCI-e connections (sorry it’s been quite a while since I last built a pc)

@wolfshadw perfect thanks. Think I will go for the ATX rather than the mATX from your advice about the card will block the fan of the graphics card.
