Switched ram, PC won't post

Hey everyone. Today I was going to upgrade my PC to 16 GB of RAM. I had a 8gb 2133mhz from goodram running fine on my B250M-HDV from AsRock. So, I bought another 8gb 2133mhz but from Micron. What happens is that the PC keeps restarting infinitely before posting when I add the Micron stick. Then, I removed the Micron stick and the PC boots just fine. Any idea on how to fix this?

Solution
the micron stick would be the issue it seems. if it will not work alone it will not work paired.
I would return the micron stick. are the timings on the stick the same as the stick you already have? the timings should be on the packaging. you can use CPUz once installed to check the timings and voltages of the installed RAM. you will want to get a stick with as close to what you already have as possible for increased chances of compatibility.

Nah, the Micron stick doesn't allow the PC to boot

I have had sticks of RAM from the same factory, made 1 after the next, serial numbers 1 apart and the twins would not work together.
if you want to add RAM I suggest replacing with larger units in a set.
maybe sell the single stick you have.
