[SOLVED] Where Are the RTX 2080 Ti?

Solution
Hmm... going by the stats on that chart, which doesn't represent every pc user, by the way, the 2080ti:
-just isn't remotely affordable by the vast majority of steam users
-definitely isn't worth an upgrade for most users are playing at 1080p! All but the most powerful cpus could keep up without hampering performance
-the few folks that did get their cards probably don't use steam, and the few that did are still waiting for theirs lost in transit somewhere...
-or perhaps it, along with a few other cards, are so few in number they are represented by the other tab at the very bottom of the graphics survey
-some a**hats bought some just to resell 'em over Ebay for more profit. Sad thing is, some really impatient people are going to...

Okay, how then do you explain why the 2080 Ti hasn't even made a dent into Steam's hardware and survey?

-also, Nvidia marketing BS. They hadn't made nearly as many as people were led to believe. The dies are over 50% larger, as well as over 50% more total components(https://www.techpowerup.com/248382/msi-talks-about-nvidia-supply-issues-us-trade-war-and-rtx-2080-ti-lightning). That said, it's going to take even longer for supply to meet demand. 2080ti is the only card worth a look, and even then, *bleh*

I will wait and see where this ray tracing thing goes. Because if Nvida fails and it doesn't take off... all the folks that bought into the 20-series will become the unlucky early adopters. And since history is something to go by, new tech doesn't get adopted instantly. It's going to take at least 2 gens of gpus before ray tracing is really up to speed - so, RTX 40-series?

I made my mistake with being an early adopter and am currently living with it - 7820x and one of the early Asus mobos with a not-so-efficient vrm heatsink. My curiosity into the HEDT got the better of me at the wrong time. Not totally terrible, but I could pair it with a 2080ti with no issues if I wanted.
