I have installed 12 GB DDR3 ram but it is showing 2.93 GB usable and 9 GB reserved for hardware
I have i5 processor which supports 16 ram
Ram size 4 GB and 8 GB
American megtrands board.
Win 7 65 bit

Open task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and see if any background processes are running in the background. That might work.

If that doesn't work, try adding a little virtual RAM while you try to solve the problem so your computer doesn't crash.
