I am using a gtx1080 ti and intel i7 8700k, I have tried many times to activate the nividia control panel by uninstalling the intel display and my nividia card..

The first issue I had was after installing the latest nividia driver, it continued to say I was not using a display connected to a nividia driver??

Secondly after trying to install the newest intel driver the screen would go black and force to restart it... even when running my pc I have to disable intel uhd graphics 630 because once enabled it goes straight to a black screen and I have to enter safe mode to disable it.....

my bios is up to date and I don't know what steps to take to resolve this issue

With this kind of power im only able to play civ 6 on lowest settings because it is not utilizing my 1080s power and im unable to run several other games, please help

Please list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor(and how you're connected to it):

Which BIOS version are you on? Which driver revision are you on? Do you see any device flagged up in Device Manager? Ideally you don't need to do anything with Intel's iGPU/their drivers. I'm looking at a possible corrupt OS installation. Speaking of which, did you try reinstalling OS after creating your bootable installer media?

CPU: Intel core i7-8700k
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix Z370-E
Ram: 16 gb Crosair Vengeance
ssd: WD Blue 500gb
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 ti
PSU: EVGA 650 GQ, 80 + Gold 650W
Chassis:NZXT S340VR-Elite
OS: Windows 10 64 bit
Monitor: Acer Gaming monitor 27` 144 hz ( connected by hdmi to hdmi from the motherboard slot, not gpu hdmi slot)

I am running ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING BIOS 1412, and the only thing flagged at the moment in device manager is the gtx 1080 because I had to unistall it to try for the 4th time to get nividia control panel to work. and what do you mean as bootable installer media? I have reinstalled windows 10 but that was earlier last week before I realized I wasn't getting performance out of the gpu

but there is the Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver
(Improve system stability & Support Intel next gen. CPU. .) that i cant install because it blacks my screen every time and im forced to restart? don't know if this could be part of the issue or if its already installed because when checking for driver updates for the intel display it says it is up to date??
