Hello, I'm trying to find a descent Graphics card to pair with an old FX-8350. This PC will only be used for playing World of Tanks.I already have everything CPU, Motherboard and memory just need the graphics card. I was looking at AMD Radeon RX 570 or 580 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5. This build is for a family member that only plays world of tanks and I want to help them out. I would like to keep the price no more than $200 for the GPU. I have been researching this game online but can't seem to find a good mid range card that will allow playing the game on ultra or high setting. Was going to just start over and go with a AMD RYZEN build but sense I'm paying for this I was wanting to use what I already have.

This is what I have:
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition
GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P (rev. 2.0) AM3+ AMD 970
EVGA 750W Power Supply
4X G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB total 32GB (overkill I think but I have it)

https://www.game-debate.com/games/ will allow you to put in your system and which game and shows you approximate FPS.

A 1050ti would be good optimal for that CPU, anything faster will not be fully utilised, maybe you could get away with a 1060/580.

Anyway you can start there and have a look if changing GPU would give you lots more, but remember, screen refresh rate, so 60fps is what most screens can show...

I am sure it won't be fully utilized, but it should be quicker than the 1050ti but not by much. It is more "future proof" but I don't think that's what you are trying to do here. The 1050ti is a capable 1080p GPU at medium High settings
The 570/580 will easily run 1080p normally on ultra settings, but maybe the CPU can't cope when its that high and the fps drops.
The 1050ti is cheaper, and some don't need external power, some do.
The 580 needs 2 power connectors.

Thank you so much guys, I think after looking at video cards on newegg all morning I have picked two cards. There over my $200 limit but that's ok.

PowerColor RED DEVIL Radeon RX 580 DirectX 12 AXRX 580 8GBD5-3DH/OC 8GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support ATX Video Card

EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC GAMING, ACX 2.0 (Single Fan), 03G-P4-6162-KR, 3GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC)

Not sure, I like the GTX 1060 but the RX 580 seems like the better.
