Can You Run A GTX 660 In A HP Compaq 6000 Pro Microtower motherboard

I am asking this because I don't know if 75watt limit per pcie slot is enough for the gtx 660 to run off of (page 10) and also on the hp motherboard it shows three 4 pins in total and a 6 pin on the motherboard but my psu only has two 4 pins (Motherboard Img) so I was wondering about that as well. Thank you in advance for anyone that helps me.

The power connectors on the board are proprietary and will not work with off the shelf aftermarket PSU's. Outside of that, I'd advise not to drop in a discrete GPU while working off the bundled PSU since they have a low wattage output.

I was wondering because I'm trying to do a budget lga775 build and optiplex is cheap but it has 25wattage cap on pcie. So what your saying is you wouldn't recommend it but if I bought the proprietary psu and used my 500watt psu to power my gpu would that be a good combo?

I'm doing the same thing with a HP 6000 Pro SFF. They make power supply adapters... Also your biggest issue is going to be the BTX form factor. As virtually no one makes BTX cases anymore. On the upside though upgrading is cheap. To go from an E5400 to a Q8400 it cost me less then $30. Well the problem is that the gtx 660 takes a 6 pin and the rest from the pcie slot and the 6 pin provides 75watts and the gtx 660 is more than 100 watts so it would take more than 25 watts and thats the limit the pcie slot has
