Hello all,

This community has been incredibly helpful to me in the past so I am back yet again for advice! My last system build has lasted me a really long time! (since 2011) My dual gtx 590 cards finally failed within 2 months of each other. One just stopped working, the other shorted out something awful! Luckily my computer shutdown before damage was done to the rest of the system.

My question is, given my system specs, what card would work well to keep my computer running for a while longer until I am ready for a new build? I have fallen behind on what is really out there for cards these days but i would like to stick with Nvidia. the 590s never gave me a single issue until failure so I am pretty happy with their stuff. I was thinking something like the 1080 cards but I am not sure about compatibility. Thank you in advance for any help you guys can lend!

Corsair Vengence 2x16GB RAM 1866
Corsiar AX1200 power supply (The 590s were power hogs lol)
