In our house we have a Netgear WNDR4500. The pc connected to the router and modem gets 100 down and about 30-40 up. My pc on the other hand only gets around 15 down and 10 up. I've bought a new wifi adapter, updated my drivers, updated the router firmware, ran a virus scan, but nothing works. On a side note, when I restarted my router earlier, for about the first few minutes I was getting 97 down according to internet speed test, the same thing happens when I restart my pc as well. I have no idea what is causing this. My wifi adapter is a linksys ac1200 if that's important. Please help, thank you.
