Solution
Are we dealing with a laptop or a PC? Some people have referred to their laptop as PC's on the forums here. If it is indeed a PC, might want to list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard? Are both sticks of ram identical? Did you add the second stick of ram if it only came with one stick of 4GB of ram or did you get a kit?

one stick of ram is adata other is crucial but I have been running those two sticks together for 2 years their speeds and everything are identicle I am using a computer (desktop)

but when I go to task manager and my pc info it says 4gb hardware reserved and I only have 8gb so it's kinda frustrating can you tell me a way to go into the settings to change it
