Pc turns on, fans spinning, mouse lighting up, but no signal on monitor or keyboard and no beeps

I have an old PC lying around, using an Asus P5QPL-AM motherboard. It had been just there in the store room for about a year or so. After rediscovering it, thought I'd give it a go and it worked fine for a couple of weeks. It's just a decent system with no graphics card. But works just fine for the kids to watch their rhymes and shows. It stopped working a day back, I tried relocating the ram, the 30 second power button trick and redoing all the connections but none seems to work. Once connected to a power source the monitor turns on displaying the default brand name, and once I turn on the power, the fans seems to be spinning just fine and so does the CD ROM, however there are no beeps. What could be the problem? Can someone please help.

I think your PSU might be shot. Maybe. We will need more info. List your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

How old is the PSU? Ty removing/unplugging all other components from the PSU until your're left powering only your OS drive and the board itself, while you have only one stick of ram on the board.
