Is it worth upgrading my gtx 1060 3 gb to a gtx 1070.

I just wanna ask if its worth upgrading my graphics card to a gtx 1070 because i really wanna play future games on like high settings.
Current PC Specs.:
Monitor: Asus gaming monitor 27" 60 hz
GPU: Gtx 1060 3 gb
CPU: i5 4590 3.30 ghz
RAM: 16 gb (ddr3)
Power supply: Gigabyte B700H 700 W ,80 plus Bronze.
If not the graphics card what else should i upgrade first?

you have the 1060 with only 3GB of GDDR5 , which is very low for modern games. also the 3GB version is slower than 6GB version of 1060.

yes is The answer to your question . it is recommended to upgrade to GTX 1070 . you will gain speed and more RAM.

if it was the 6GB Version then no . but sadly you have the 3GB version. which is not enough.

and your CPU is good for GTX 1070.

if you play FHD 1080P you will need at least 4GB GDDR5 in modern games for higher settings.

I agree I have a Galax GTX 1060 6GB and thought i would consider upgrading too to the 1070 but since it handles everything quite well the performance increase wont be as dramatic as moving up to a 1080 or 2080.

What do you mean it wont fully take the advantage of the 1070? would the processor bottleneck or crash with the gtx 1070?Or like couldn't handle it? Because i really wanna try out the 1070 with my system since its way better than the 1060 3gb.

Don't get a 1070 now. Wait for prices to drop when the RTX 2070 goes lives in a few days here. The 1060 3Gb is plenty capable, and the gains to 1070 is not large enough to justify the dollars and pricing right now:

If you are really hell bent on making is this upgrade, you want to go at least to a GTX 1070ti, and you want it under $350. But that will take some patience and smart shopping.
